🐾 Ragdoll Kittens for Sale in the USA
We specialize in beautiful Ragdoll kittens with gorgeous blue eyes, soft fluffy coats, and the sweet, affectionate personalities the breed is known for. We love beautiful coloring, striking patterns, and that adorable Ragdoll look that's pretty hard to resist. Over the years, our Ragdoll kittens have found loving homes with families all across the United States.
🐾 How Our Ragdoll Kittens Are Raised
We've been breeding cats since 2008, and one of the things I love most is watching our tiny babies grow into sweet, affectionate little Ragdolls. All of our Ragdoll kittens are raised inside our home with our family, right in the middle of our everyday lives. From the very beginning, my daughters and I spend tons of time holding them, playing with them, cuddling them, and loving on them. That constant interaction and socialization helps them grow into the sweet, affectionate, “floppy” companions the Ragdoll breed is known for.
Even though Ragdolls are known for their naturally sweet personalities, constant interaction from a young age makes such a difference. A Ragdoll kitten played with daily will be different than a Ragdoll kitten handled occasionally. We also post tons of videos of our kittens on our YouTube channel, so you can actually watch them play, grow, and show off those adorable little personalities before they're old enough to go home.
Having healthy kittens is always one of our top priorities. Our adult breeding cats are HCM scanned and genetically tested for PRA and PKDef, and every kitten comes with our 5-year health guarantee. We've also brought in beautiful bloodlines from around the world, and all our Ragdolls come from Champion bloodlines. Many of our own cats have earned championship titles too. We love going to cat shows!
Nothing makes me happier than hearing from families after their kittens go home and seeing how loved and spoiled they've become. You can read our Client Reviews to hear directly from families who have brought home our kittens.
Over the years, we have made countless families happy. See some of our past kittens here.

🐾 Ragdoll Kittens Near Me
Are you searching for Ragdoll kittens near me? That's actually how many families first find us! While choosing a breeder close to home can certainly be convenient, finding the right Ragdoll breeder is much more important than simply choosing the one who happens to live closest to you.
We work with families all across the United States, so you don't have to limit your search to Ragdoll breeders in your immediate area. With several safe and convenient transportation options available, we've helped families from all over the country welcome one of our Ragdoll kittens into their homes.

🐾 Ragdoll Kitten Delivery & Pickup Options
We offer several safe and convenient ways to get your sweet Ragdoll kitten home.
Flight Nanny Delivery
Many of our families choose to have their kitten delivered by one of our trusted flight nannies. Your Ragdoll kitten will fly safely in the airplane cabin with the nanny the entire time. Once they arrive, the nanny will meet you at your nearest major airport and personally hand your new baby over to you!
Pick Up Your Kitten
You're always welcome to pick up your kitten yourself. If you're flying in, we can arrange to meet you at the airport with your kitten so you can fly home together.
Private Ground Transportation
Depending on your location, private ground transportation may also be available. Our driver can arrange a convenient meeting location or, in many cases, bring your Ragdoll kitten directly to your home. He's delivered many kittens for us over the years, and he takes excellent care of them along the way.
We work with families throughout the United States and have helped families in many different Ragdoll kitten locations bring home one of our kittens. No matter where you live, we'd love to help you find the perfect Ragdoll kitten for your family.

🐾 Why Ragdoll Cats Make Wonderful Pets
There are so many reasons we fell in love with Ragdolls! Between their sweet personalities, beautiful blue eyes, fluffy coats, and love for their people, it's pretty easy to understand why they've become such a popular family cat.
-
Ragdolls are known for their incredibly sweet, gentle, and affectionate personalities.
-
They tend to be very people-oriented and often want to be wherever their family is.
-
Ragdolls enjoy being held more than other cats, and some will let you carry them around.
-
Ragdoll cats are sometimes referred to as "floppy cats" because they go limp when held.
-
Many Ragdolls will follow their favorite people from room to room just to see what they're doing.
-
Their gorgeous blue eyes are one of the most recognizable features of the breed.
-
Ragdolls have beautiful soft, semi-long coats that don't require professional grooming.
-
Despite all that fluff, their coats are generally easier to care for than many people expect, especially with regular brushing.
-
Ragdolls are wonderful with children when they're properly socialized and treated gently.
-
Ragdolls get along very well with other cats and cat-friendly dogs, especially when properly introduced.
-
They're playful and silly without usually being quite as busy or high-energy as some other breeds.
-
Ragdolls make wonderful indoor cats and are usually perfectly happy living their lives safely inside with their families.
-
They're often described as “gentle giants” because of their larger size and typically sweet, easygoing personalities.
-
Ragdolls are slow to mature and can continue growing and filling out for several years.
-
Cats can provide wonderful comfort and companionship, and you can learn more about how they may help as emotional support animals.
-
Ragdolls are generally quiet, well-behaved cats that aren't overly vocal, making them easygoing companions to have around the house.
-
Ragdolls are intelligent and inquisitive cats that love exploring their surroundings, investigating new things, and keeping an eye on whatever their family is doing.
-
Ragdoll cats' average lifespan is 12-20 years. Many of them live into their late teens!
-
Ragdolls are usually happiest when they're included in everyday family life rather than spending most of their time off by themselves.
-
They still love to play! Many enjoy wand toys, chasing balls, climbing cat trees, and sometimes even learning to play fetch.
-
One of the things we love most about Ragdolls is how attached they can become to their people. They're such loving little companions, and there's nothing quite like having a big fluffy Ragdoll following you around the house just because they want to be near you.
It's that combination of beauty, sweetness, and companionship that made us fall in love with Ragdolls in the first place, and why we think they're such amazing family cats.

🐾 From Kitten to Adult – What to Expect
These pictures give you a great idea of how much a Ragdoll kitten's coat, size, coloring, and overall look can change as they grow. Ragdolls go through a beautiful transformation, becoming fluffier, fuller-coated, and even more striking as they mature.
Ragdoll kittens are born very light in color, and their points and markings gradually become more noticeable as they get older. Their color can continue to deepen with age, and their coats become longer and fuller as they mature. Ragdolls are also a slow-maturing breed, so that tiny fluffy kitten still has a lot of growing and changing ahead!
The photos of Chloe below are a perfect example—she was adorable at five weeks old, but look at how much her color, coat, and overall appearance changed by just nine months! Isn't she gorgeous?
🐾 Important Information Before Purchasing a Ragdoll Kitten
Kitten scams have become incredibly common. Scammers steal photos and videos from real breeders, create fake social media accounts, and sometimes even build entire websites to convince people to send them money. If you ever have doubts, ask for a new video of the exact kitten you're interested in, or ask for the breeder's veterinarian's phone number. You can call the vet directly to confirm they're a client and ask whether the phone number you've been communicating with matches the one they have on file.
Our Avoid Kitten Scams page goes into much more detail about what to watch for and ways you can protect yourself before sending anyone money.
It's just as important to make sure you're choosing an experienced, reputable Ragdoll breeder who health tests their breeding cats and puts plenty of time into raising and socializing their kittens. A beautiful website doesn't necessarily tell you what's happening behind the scenes, and unfortunately, it's very easy for someone to copy information from established breeders and put it on their own website. Ask questions, look for real photos and videos, read reviews, and make sure you're comfortable with the breeder before committing to a kitten.
Socialization is especially important, even for Ragdoll kittens. Despite being known for their naturally sweet personalities, they still need lots of handling, attention, and interaction from a young age to become the sweetest, most confident versions of themselves. Look for a breeder whose kittens are regularly handled, played with, and exposed to normal family life from an early age. TICA or CFA registration is a good thing, but registration by itself doesn't tell you how a breeder raises or socializes their kittens.
For more tips on what to look for, read our How to Choose a Cat Breeder page.
PRO TIPS:
What's the best way to avoid a kitten scam?
Ask the breeder for their vet's contact info so you can verify them. When you call, make sure the phone number they have on file matches what you have. (Our vet's # 225-665-8271 if you would like to verify us.)
How can I make sure my kitten is social and being handled & loved daily?
Request a video of the kitten interacting with people, and check the breeder’s social media or YouTube channel for regular updates. (recent videos of our kittens)

🐾 Red Flags to Watch Out for When Buying a Ragdoll Kitten
If a Ragdoll breeder allows you to “place a deposit” or “adopt” a kitten directly through their website without ever speaking with them first, I would consider that a major red flag. Before sending money, you should know whom you're dealing with and feel confident that there's a real breeder and a real kitten behind the website.
A responsible Ragdoll breeder should care about where their kittens are going and want to know something about the families bringing them home. Personally, I would never accept a deposit from someone without communicating with them first. These are babies we've raised and loved in our home, and knowing where they're going matters to me.
Don't let TICA or CFA registration alone be the deciding factor either. Registration can be one piece of the puzzle, but you should still research the breeder, ask questions, look for real photos and videos, check reviews, and make sure you're comfortable before sending a deposit.
🐾 Ragdoll Cat Grooming and Coat Care
Ragdoll cats' coats are surprisingly easy to care for, especially considering how long, soft, and fluffy they are. Their silky coats typically have less of a dense undercoat than many other long-haired breeds, which can make them less prone to matting and easier to maintain at home.
Regular brushing helps remove loose hair, prevent tangles, and keep their coat looking soft and beautiful. Most Ragdolls absolutely love being brushed, too! It can become a relaxing little bonding time with your cat, especially when you get them used to it while they're young. Grooming is also a great opportunity to check their ears, nails, skin, and coat and keep them comfortable with being handled.
If you'd like to know how often to brush your Ragdoll, which grooming tools work best, how much they shed, whether they need baths, and more, you can find everything in our Ragdoll grooming and coat care guide.

🐾 Frequently Asked Questions About Ragdoll Cats & Kittens
How much do Ragdoll kittens cost?
The price of a Ragdoll kitten can vary quite a bit depending on the breeder, pedigree, location, color and pattern, and what is included with the kitten. When comparing prices, make sure you also look at health testing, veterinary care, whether the kitten is already spayed or neutered, the health guarantee, and how the kittens are raised. You can learn more about the price of a Ragdoll kitten in our complete guide.
How big do Ragdoll cats get?
Ragdolls are one of the larger domestic cat breeds. Males are usually noticeably bigger than females, and their long bodies, fluffy coats, and sturdy build can make them look even larger than they actually are. They're also slow to mature and may continue filling out for several years before reaching their full adult size.
How long do Ragdoll cats live?
Ragdolls' average lifespan is 12-20 years, with many Ragdoll cats living into their late teens. Genetics, nutrition, veterinary care, weight, lifestyle, and whether they live safely indoors can all play a role in how long an individual Ragdoll lives.
Are Ragdoll cats hypoallergenic?
No, Ragdolls are not truly hypoallergenic. However, their silky, semi-long coats have less of the dense undercoat found in many other long-haired breeds, so they shed less than people expect from such a fluffy cat. That can mean less loose, allergen-coated hair around the home, although cat allergies are mainly caused by proteins such as Fel d 1 rather than the fur itself.
Do Ragdoll cats shed a lot?
Yes, Ragdolls shed, but often less than people expect from such a fluffy cat. Their soft, silky coats typically have less of the dense undercoat found in many other long-haired breeds, which can mean less shedding and matting. They may shed more during seasonal coat changes, but regular brushing helps keep loose hair under control.
What is the personality of a Ragdoll cat like?
Ragdolls are famous for their sweet, gentle, affectionate personalities. They tend to be very people-oriented and often follow their families around the house just to be near them. They're playful and curious but generally aren't as wild or constantly on the go as some more active cat breeds.
Do Ragdoll cats like to be held?
Many Ragdolls really do enjoy being held and cuddled, which is one reason the breed has its “floppy cat” reputation. Some will happily relax in your arms or let you carry them around the house. That doesn't mean every Ragdoll will love being held, though—each cat has their own personality and preferences.
Are male or female Ragdoll cats more affectionate?
Both male and female Ragdolls can be incredibly affectionate, and I wouldn't choose a kitten based on sex alone. Individual personality, genetics, upbringing, and socialization can make a much bigger difference. If you're choosing between kittens, I think finding the personality you fall in love with is much more important than whether the kitten is a boy or girl.
What colors do Ragdoll cats come in?
Ragdolls come in several beautiful colors, including seal, blue, chocolate, lilac, red, and cream, along with different patterns such as colorpoint, mitted, and bicolor. Their color develops as they grow, so a young Ragdoll kitten can look quite different from the beautiful adult they eventually become.
Why are Ragdoll kittens born white?
Ragdoll kittens are born very light or nearly white because the gene responsible for their pointed coloring is temperature-sensitive. Their cooler extremities gradually develop color after birth, which is why the ears, face, legs, and tail become darker as the kitten grows. Their coloring can continue changing and deepening well into adulthood.
Do all Ragdoll cats have blue eyes?
Traditional Ragdolls are known for their gorgeous blue eyes, and blue eyes are required under the Ragdoll breed standard. You may have seen Ragdoll-type cats with aqua, green, gold, or other eye colors, especially mink, sepia, and solid varieties. As of May 2025, TICA recognizes these cats as Cherubim, a separate breed within the Ragdoll/Cherubim Breed Group. Cherubim share the same general body type and sweet personality Ragdolls are known for but come in additional colors and can have different eye colors.
How can you tell if a Ragdoll kitten is purebred?
Looks alone aren't enough to prove that a kitten is a purebred Ragdoll. A kitten's pedigree and registration are much more meaningful than simply having blue eyes, pointed coloring, or a fluffy coat. If having a purebred Ragdoll is important to you, choose a breeder who can provide registration and pedigree information showing the kitten's ancestry. You can also easily DNA test your cat right from home using Wisdom Panel.
