Our Ragdoll breeding cats receive HCM heart screening and genetic testing for inherited conditions including PRA-b and PKDef. We also test for FeLV and FIV and routinely screen for parasites to help ensure we're raising healthy kittens from carefully selected parents.
Every kitten also comes with a 5-year health guarantee, because we want our families to feel comfortable knowing we’ve taken their kitten’s health seriously from the very beginning.
Although Ragdolls are well known for their sweet, affectionate personalities, those traits don't simply happen on their own. You’re always welcome to pick up your kitten from us in person, or if making the drive isn’t convenient, we can help arrange private ground transportation to bring your kitten closer to you or directly to your home.
Picking Up Your Ragdoll Kitten in New Orleans
Most of our Louisiana families enjoy picking up their kitten in person. We have a flexible schedule and are happy to work with families to arrange a convenient pickup time.
Private Ground Transportation
For families who aren't able to make the trip themselves, we have a trusted private ground transportation option available. A close friend of ours provides safe, private transportation and can either meet you at a convenient location or, in many cases, bring your Ragdoll kitten directly to your home.
Flight Nanny Service to Shreveport
For families in North Louisiana, we can also arrange for one of our trusted flight nannies to bring your Ragdoll kitten to the Shreveport Regional Airport. This can make bringing your kitten home much easier without having to make the long drive to New Orleans. Our flight nanny travels with your kitten in the airplane cabin and personally meets you at the airport for pickup.
You can also fly from Shreveport to the New Orleans (MSY) airport, and we can meet you there with your kitten.

Ragdolls are usually very social cats and tend to do well in homes with other pets. Their laid-back, easygoing personalities can make them a great fit for families that already have other cats or even cat-friendly dogs. Many Ragdolls enjoy having another pet around for company, especially when their family is away during the day.

🐾 Ragdoll Colors and Patterns
Ragdoll cats come in several beautiful colors, with seal and blue being two of the most well-known. They can also come in chocolate, lilac, red, and cream, along with tortie variations that combine different colors.
Ragdoll kittens are actually born almost completely white, and their color gradually begins to develop as they grow. Their points—the color on their face, ears, legs, and tail—become darker and more noticeable over time. It can take a few years for a Ragdoll to develop its full adult coloring.
Color is only part of what gives each Ragdoll its unique appearance. Their color can be combined with different patterns, including colorpoint, mitted, and bicolor, as well as lynx, which adds the pretty tabby-like striping you may see on the face, legs, and tail.
